China Mobile International (CMI) Content Introduction Notice

1st February, 2019 – China Mobile international (CMI) announced to launch a content business platform in the second quarter of 2019. We will cooperate with different content parties to provide rich and diversified content, enhance content coverage, meet the needs of the national “Belt and Road” initiative, combine the content and connectivity requirements, and build new advantages in CMI's international business.

The content business will start in Hong Kong. The Southeast Asia region is also the first phase of key development areas. Together with supporting its global infrastructure construction and transmission capabilities, we will cooperate with major content providers to provide content solutions for global carriers.

CMI Content Corporation will follow the principle of “fair competition, openness, fairness and honesty”. Introduced contents include movies, TV dramas, sports, kids, variety shows, information, games, animation, music, documentaries etc. based on the provisions of partner's copyright qualification, content quality, information security, introduction and withdrawal principles, and business model etc. The content corporation review process is divided into three stages: qualification review, cooperation decision-making and contract signing.
